There are several universities where you can study law in Western and Central Slovakia that offer law programs in English:

Western Slovakia:

• Comenius University in Bratislava (UK) – Faculty of Law
  This university offers Bachelor's and master’s programs in law focused on international law, European law, and business law in English. During your studies, you will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the creation, interpretation, and application of law and legal order. The program will prepare you for positions in middle and senior management.
• Pan-European University in Bratislava
  This university offers bachelor’s programs in English, focusing on international relations and diplomacy.
• University of Trnava – Faculty of Law
  The Faculty offers a doctoral study program focused on the theory and history of the state and law. Graduates of this program will be prepared for highly specialized and qualified professions in the field of legal science and research.

Central Slovakia:

• Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica – Faculty of Law
  Here, you can study Bachelor's and Master's programs in law in both full-time and part-time formats. Graduates have adequate knowledge of various legal branches (e.g., Roman law, constitutional law, administrative law, civil law, labor law, public international law) and are able to identify the connections between them.

Eastern Slovakia

• Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice - Faculty of Law
  Faculty of Law in Košice provides Bachelor's and Master's programs in Slovak language. However, at bachelor level, there is possibility to study in English or French.

Application Process

International students can apply to Slovak universities through an online application available on the university's website. Each university has different deadlines, but generally, you can apply between January and April.

Tuition Fees:

Tuition fees for international students are usually higher at public universities, ranging from €1,500 to €5,000 per year. However, for European Union citizens, tuition fees may be lower or completely free (e.g., following EU education rules).
